It and its advertising partners do not offer a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify Poinsett County and Arkansas record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site operated independently of government. It does not store official criminal records, perform official checks, retrieve records for visitors, or submit legal documents.
Its role is to identify Poinsett County custodians, such as the sheriff and court clerks, along with Arkansas State Police Identification Bureau and Arkansas Crime Information Center systems and the Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System. Public dissemination of Arkansas criminal history is governed in part by Ark. Code Ann. § 12-12-1009. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

Use is permitted only when these restrictions are followed. A visitor must not:

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Information obtained here or through a linked service may not be used to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. Registry data warrants special care. Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System information is published for lawful public-safety awareness, not retaliation, vigilantism, or blacklisting. Misuse against a registrant may violate Arkansas law.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Poinsett County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising partners are not presented as providers for regulated screening. Information from the site or a linked tool may not be used to:
- Decide whether to hire or fire someone
- Screen potential renters or housing applicants
- Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
- Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
- Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules
A check for a regulated purpose must be obtained through a properly authorized Arkansas State Police channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA and all other applicable law.
